"One of the major highlights was seeing Ben Harper and
band perform at Casino de Paris on March 17. What an amazing
show!! They played a huge set to about 1500 or so... it really
was an incredible night. The new reggae vibe is very cool
and some tracks from the new album live are just completely
sublime... Blessed to be a witness was a definite highlight
as was Amen Omen, Two Hands and my fave from the new album,
She's Only Happy in the Sun."

"There was one very brilliant gig in Paris at la pomme
d'eve on April 17th. Man this one was so special. Probably
the best yet in Paris. The people who came were just so amazing.
I was seriously getting chills through my whole body from
some of the responses after songs and just the general beautiful
feeling in the place. This is really when concerts reach that
unspoken new level...when artist and audience become one...totally
connected. The emotion and intimacy was truly sublime. A lot
of new and very cool people too. A big hi to all the crew
who came from Ben Harper's devoted French fan base. Very lovely
to meet and hang with you all and especially dug that impromptu
sing along after the gig... those moments are very rare and
always very very special. Here's how the set list went..." |
